Description:
Guided hiking and camping event. This event will be primarily on the Pioneer Trail at Jennings State Forest. This trail offers exceptional views of the North Fork of Black Creek and provides constant elevation change along multiple different ecosystems. This trail is considered moderate difficulty, but event will progress as fast or slow as the group prefers. Hikers will find adequate rest areas a long the trail with seating. This event can be enjoyed by novice hikers as well as experienced. Please note: There are no restroom facilities along the trail or at the camping area. Please plan accordingly. Possible total miles hiked will be approx. 14 miles, dependent upon wishes of the group. Hikers can be transported to camp or back to headquarters if desired. Tents, sleepings bags, sleeping pads etc. will be transported form the Jennings Office to the camping area by Forest Service Staff. Participants will only need to carry a small backpack for water, snacks, and personal items with them on the trail.
Meals to be supplied: Dinner on Friday Lunch on Friday and Saturday Breakfast on Saturday Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the event

Participants will be drawn at random via the OOF website prior to the event. Participants will be selected to participate in only one event unless there are unfilled slots available at other events for which you have applied. Selected participants will be notified by email.
