Guided spring turkey hunt for 5 veterans in the Picayune strand state forest. Hunters arrive Friday April 3rd, the hunt will be 2 days Saturday the 4th and concluding sunday the 5th. Only bows, crossbows and shotguns using #2 or smaller size shot may be used. - Limit one bearded turkey or gobbler - Hunting other animals is prohibited - Legal shooting hours are ½ hour before sunrise until 1 p.m. If participants do not have their own weapons they will be provided. Arrival begins at 5pm on Friday evening April 3rd, safety briefing, Dinner and introductions will be at 6pm. First hunt will be on Saturday the 4th.
