|Registration:||2/13/2020 to 9/1/2020|
Two full-days of guided fly fishing in the beautiful Florida Keys. The event will be held out of the Worldwide Sportsman Marina in fabled Islamorada, often referred to as the SPORTFISHING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. During their stay, participants will be housed at vacation rental housing provided through the generosity of local donations. The fishing experience will consist of two days of fishing on the flats of Florida Bay and, weather permitting, the ocean side reefs of offshore Islamorada. Targeted species on the flats will include tarpon, bonefish, mangrove snapper and permit. Targeted species on the ocean side reefs will include Grouper, Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowtail and Mutton Snappers, Kingfish, Tuna and a host of other species typically found on our bountiful reefs. Participants will be guided by professional guides who typically fish 2 to 3 anglers per boat. Most guides are on the water at least 150 days per year, and really know how to find (and catch!) the fish. On the evenings before the event, participants will be asked for their fishing preferences and every effort will be made to accommodate them on the next day’s fishing. The welcome dinner will be at Islamorada Fish Co. 81532 Overseas Hwy @5:30 pm Sept 22nd. Capt. Mark Gibson is the contact. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org, phone 813-453-5322.
